As many of you can surmise, with my interest in comic books it would only make sense that I would be a Sci-Fi fan in general. 
You would assume correct.
Additionally, many of you know of my disdain for some modern filmmakers which I feel are over-hyped.
Mr. Abrams, for this example.
I am going to make this short. Star Trek: Into Darkness.
Go see it. Period.
This movie is what a re-boot, re-imagining, homage, etc… is all about.
Why people are not seeing this in droves is beyond me. It not only is how a story should be told, it is a far superior film to any that have come out in recent memory in the fantasy genre.
I’m not going to play spoiler and discuss it, I am just going to say, again, go see it.
Quite frankly, Mr. Abrams has graduated in my opinion to a real filmmaker.
Oh, by the way. For those of you praise The Avengers. Trust me, after seeing ST:ID you’ll realize how flaw-filled that picture is.
